How does the badge-scan import work?

Upload a CSV from your badge system or load Boothloom’s built-in sample. Boothloom previews normalized rows, recognizes aliases for name, email, company, title, phone, notes, and scanned-at fields, flags malformed or invalid rows, and creates only valid rows. Each import is limited to 2 MB and 5,000 rows.

Does Boothloom scrape websites or external profiles?

Accepted Answer

No. Boothloom currently uses only the values in the CSV you upload; it does not scrape websites or external profiles. It derives Hot, Warm, or Cold from title, company, and email-domain signals, then asks the AI proxy for a one-sentence role summary using those imported fields. If AI is unavailable, it uses a rules-based summary.

What happens to a lead after it is imported?

Imported leads begin as New. You can edit the title, company, role summary, or priority note, and those edits are marked with manual provenance. You can also generate or edit a draft before deciding what happens next.

How do approvals and rejections work?

Accepted Answer

A lead can be saved as Drafted, approved as Approved, or marked Rejected. The decision stores the submitted follow-up text as finalMessage. A generated draft is never an automatic approval: you choose the final message and decision, and only Approved leads can be exported.

What does the approved CSV export contain?

Accepted Answer

The export is named approved-leads.csv and is ordered by the original source row. It contains exactly name, email, company, tier, status, and finalMessage. It does not include the full original badge-scan row or any unapproved leads.

Question 6

How does the voice profile shape each draft?

Accepted Answer

Draft generation receives your saved voice note, 3–5 writing samples, banned phrases, preferred CTAs, and any populated signature fields. Those inputs shape style, CTA, prohibited wording, and signature without supplying facts; lead and event data remain the factual source. Without a profile, drafts use a neutral human tone and no signature. First-touch drafts are constrained to 3–5 sentences, and follow-ups to 2–3.
